Cinema For All is the national support and development organisation for community-led cinema: community cinemas, film clubs and societies. As a member, we whole-heartedly support everything they stand for!


Coffee Craft is an independent, family-run coffee shop based at Stanley Halls. Nick and Michelle have been keeping our audiences refreshed since December 2015, often inventing creative themed menus to fit with the film!


Syrup Junkie is a small South London based company making natural flavoured sugar syrups. It is the big brother of Cocktail Junkie, who bring yummy cocktails to our film nights.


Based in Kennington, London’s Cinema Museum is devoted to keeping alive the spirit of cinema from the days before the multiplex. In February 2016 we were proud to partner with them for our special Valentine’s Day event, where they screened vintage cinéfilm on 16mm projectors.


The South London Theatre is a large, well-established, repertory-style non-professional theatre based at Stanley Halls. We are delighted to have them next door whilst their West Norwood venue is renovated and have taken full advantage of their extraordinary costume hire facility!


Ben is based in South Norwood but his work is regularly exhibited throughout the UK and beyond. His creative output is split between personal projects and commercial commissions. In October 2015, Ben captured our launch event with a set of beautiful photos.


Bob is one of our trusty volunteers with a devout passion for photography. He says, “Should you have any requirements please get in touch to discuss. Special discounts for Stanley’s Film Club members”. Bob has photographed several of our events including Babylon in April 2016.


The BRIT School in Selhurst is the UK’s leading performing arts and technology State School, providing a unique and free education for 1,200 pupils aged between 14 and 19. In October 2015 we were proud to screen Amy, Oscar-winning documentary about former BRIT student Amy Winehouse.


Chocolate Films is a Battersea based film production company specialising in documentary film production and learning programmes. In October 2015 we were delighted to be able to screen two short films from their ever-growing 1000 Londoners series.



FEAST Film Nights are a volunteer powered initiative from West Norwood Feast, screening interesting, quirky, cult or classic films and documentaries twice monthly. We are pleased to promote other film initiatives in the area – the more the merrier!

14_Halloumi-Films-1Halloumi Films produces visual stories from the heart. Based in South London, Halloumi loves to capture a special event, promote an important cause, and document something beautiful. In February 2016, Halloumi Films captured the magic at our Valentine’s Day event.


The original Croydon hyperlocal, which since 2010 has been bringing to the borough the stories that many of those in power would rather you knew nothing about. Inside Croydon are ongoing supporters of the Film Club’s activities.


Jo is based in South East London and supplies creative, fine art wedding and portrait photography focused on capturing emotions and ephemeral moments. In February 2016, Jo produced a beautiful set of photographs documenting our Valentine’s Day event. Available for commercial projects.

Katy & Co is an excellent wedding photography business run by local husband and wife team Katy and Wayne. Over the years they have brought together their artistic backgrounds craft a style that is natural, beautiful, narratively focused and cinematically styled. They have captured a number of our events, including Buena Vista Social Club and Stanley’s Christmas Extravaganza.


The People’s Republic of South London Soul Club is an evening with DJs playing an eclectic mix of Northern Soul, 60’s 70’s Motown, Crossover & Modern music. A great night out for everyone!


The South Norwood and Thornton Heath Free Film Festival is a local annual event run entirely by volunteers with the aim of bringing people together across the community to enjoy a great movie and celebrate their local area. New volunteers and ideas are always welcome!


South Norwood Network is the community group for the local area, focused on providing information to the residents and businesses of South Norwood and SE25. South Norwood Network are ongoing supporters of the Film Club’s activities.


Yeha Noha is an independent Eastern European Café run by a dedicated family. We are thankful to Yeha Noha for providing a warm and welcoming local hub for our many Film Club meetings!
